SONGCATCHERSEDIT_edited.jpg

Peter Gabriel took the SongCatchers on numerous national and international WOMAD tours.  He calls the SongCatchers “Spine Tingling.” The multi-ethnic group honor the traditions of intertribal pow wow singing and drumming, blending rock, soul, jazz and spoken word into a one of a kind fusion, the Songcatchers are the only intertribal group to sign with a major label (A&M Records) and reach the highest level (winning 2 Native American Grammys) without watering down the blood and guts  of authentic intertribal music.

Represented Tribes   Navajo, Choctaw, Groventre, Shoshone, Colville, Yakima, Blackfeet, Pima & Levi- of the lost tribes of Israel.

The SongCatchers: Arlie Neskahi, Lara Lavi, Mark Cardenas (musical director), Maurice Jones Jr., Mark Smith, Charles Neville – Honorary Founding Member, Cameron Lavi-Jones, Mishella Brien, Robert Charles, Dave Madera, TJ Morris, Mary Wilbur – Honorary Member, Tae Phoenix  - Backup Singer
